Equalseal Stainless Steel Service Tape is the ideal solution for sealing piping components made of stainless steel. Our tape contains nickel which acts like a ball-bearing to prevent galling of the threads in stainless steel piping. It is a heavy-duty tape measuring in at 4-mil thick and 1.3 g/cc density, is rated to 10,000 psi, and requires only 2-3 wraps to achieve a tight seal. It is color coded grey to prevent it from being confused with lower grade tapes.
